Benefits of Dark Chocolate

Benefits of Dark Chocolate

There have been many, many studies about how dark chocolate is a health benefit.

It has been reported the Green Tea and Dark Chocolate have some of the same characteristics. The antioxidants in chocolate have been linked to the following health benefits:

  • Decrease in blood pressure
  • A Vast improvement in Circulation
  • A lower death rate from heart disease
  • Improve the function of the endothelial cells
  • Improver overall digestion and help stimulate the kidneys
  • Flavonoids have been used in conjunction with the anemia, kidney stones and a poor appetite.
There are two different types of flavonoids called catechin and epicarechins. These are found to help with some symptoms of cancer. Dark chocolate has three more times the amount of catechins that are found in some teas.

Dark chocolate is also said to be a good choice of copper and magnesium which is essential in maintaining a regular heartbeat and maintain levels of a person's blood pressure. Eating a large amount of dark chocolate is not good for anyway in terms of fat and calories even though there is a great potential for it to be a health benefit anyway. Eating too much of anything is not a good thing.

Too much chocolate can also give you a soft of jolt because dark chocolate has caffeine in it. So they more you eat you may get that sugar chocolate rush a bit too much. But if taken in moderation, you will see the health benefits sooner rather than later. Too much of it will give you a belly ache and just the right amount may prevent you form having a heart attack.
